Thankfully, it has been an exceptionally mild winter this year on the east coast. Ordinarily, I’m used to cold winter days and even colder nights. Sometimes, it’s just downright bitter cold outside. Last week was Campus Action Week at Clarion University; an initiative through the Association of Pennsylvania State College & University Faculties (APSCUF) to speak up against continued cuts in state funding from the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE).
Earlier this week, Governor Corbett proposed an additional 20 percent cut to the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, in addition to the 18 percent he has already previously proposed.
