Clarion Doubles Up Susquehanna

The Clarion Golden Eagles men’s basketball team improved its record to 3-3 on the season after defeating Susquehanna University 86-44 at Tippin Gymnasium on Tuesday night, Nov. 29. The Golden Eagles dominated in all facets of the game. They controlled the glass by out-rebounding the Crusaders 49-28, including 15 offensive rebounds that provided second-chance opportunities.

On Friday night, Nov. 11, the Golden Eagles lost a close one, 82-81 against Virginia Union University. Clarion had a chance to win the game, but Calvin Edwards’ shot missed as time expired.

Clarion men’s basketball team fell to Gannon University 76-67 at Tippin Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 29, dropping its third game in conference play and fifth game overall. The difference in this game was the hot shooting by the Gannon Golden Knights. Gannon shot 56.3 percent overall and 50 percent from three point land.
