The Golden Eagle football team dropped its first PSAC-West Division game this past weekend to the California University Vulcans by the score of 40-13. CalU came into the game being ranked No. 17 in Division II football.

It was another close game this past Saturday at Clarion’s Memorial Stadium, where the Golden Eagles football team hosted Slippery Rock. The Golden Eagles were searching for their first win of the season in front of 6,500 fans for homecoming.
