Rugby night in Clarion

The Clarion University Rugby team in a scrum with the Stonebrook team at the NYC tournament that was held on March 28.

Clarion Rugby is planning on holding a series of charity games this Saturday.

The games will be held at Memorial Field, beginning at 5 p.m.

The team is asking all who attend for a $1 donation.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Clarion V.F.W. Post 2145 Military Care Package Program.

At 5 p.m., the Rocky Grove U-19 team will take on Fox Chapel.

The Clarion women’s team then takes on Grove City at 6:30 p.m.

To close the evening, the Clarion men’s team will face Duquesne at 8 p.m.

The women’s team currently has a record of 8-2, while the men are 7-2.
