After dropping a pair at Lake Erie, the Golden Eagles split a pair of doubleheaders against Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Clarion lost the first decision to Lake Erie 12-2. Kevin Keebler pitched 3.1 innings while giving up three earned runs and eight hits.

Lake Erie was helped by a seven–run second inning and a five–run fourth inning to take the first game of the day.

Matt Rossi went 2-for-3 and Adam Foltz went 1-for-4. Kyle Kemp went 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

Patrick Stantial and Matt Vanni had two hits and two RBIs a piece for Lake Erie.

Clarion dropped the second game 6-3. Ron Cannon got the loss for the Golden Eagles.

He went three innings and gave up five earned runs.

Adam Foltz, Jason Krimsky and Matt White led the way for Clarion with two hits.

Erik Kempton went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Clarion won the first game of their first doubleheader against IUP 3-0.

The Golden Eagles scored three runs in the top of the seventh to take the first game of the twin bill. John Hynes lasted 5.1 innings while giving up two walks.

Brandon Slater relieved Hynes to close the deal. Mark White came through in the seventh inning to drive in two runs with a double to widen the lead to three runs.

Erik Kempton started for Clarion in the second game; he gave up eight earned runs in just three innings on five hits and five walks.

Clarion dropped the second decision 10-3.

Clarion was led by Matt Rossi, who went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, Scott Berkes chipped in with two hits and Andrew Petruska added a triple in his 2-for-4 day.

Chuck Roller (3-3) took control of game one of the second doubleheader on Monday.

He went the distance, giving up only one earned run on seven hits; he also struck out eight batters. Erik Kempton went 2-for-3 and scored two runs.

Matt White went 3-for-4 with an RBI and Matt Rossi and Jason Krimsky had two hits apiece.

The second game of the twin bill was a completely different story.

Clarion dropped the decision 10-3. Eric Panko (0-6) lasted 4.2 innings, giving up six hits and four earned runs.

Matt White went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Erik Kempton went 2-for-3 while scoring two runs.

Matt Rossi and Jason Krimsky both went 2-for-4.

The Golden Eagles visit Lock Haven for a doubleheader on Friday before returning to Clarion to host Lock Haven in a doubleheader.
