Clarion United Way hosts 5K and 10K races

The Clarion United Way hosted a 5K and 10K race this past Saturday, in which several Clarion University athletes and ex-athletes participated. Dominating the races were former members of the Clarion men’s cross country and track and field teams.
Coming in first place in the 10K race was Levi Miller with a time of 34:01.
Miller is a Clarion senior, and former member of the Clarion men’s cros country and track and field teams.

Winning the 5K race with a time of 15:29, was Sean McFarland, a Clarion graduate, and also former member of the men’s cross-country and track teams.
Coming in second place in the 5K was Clarion graduate and former member of the cross country and track teams, Travis Cyphery, with a time of 17:37.
Also running were members of Clarion wrestling team, who ran the 5K race carrying their teammates on their backs.
