Cartoon: Gobsmacked
The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled California’s Proposition 8 unconstitutional, saying that the law “single[s] out a disfavored group for unequal treatment.” The forces of bigotry are pretending to be happy about this development, saying they can’t wait for the Supreme Court to uphold it.
Good luck with that one, guys. Even if you manage to get this hateful law upheld, it’s only a matter of time. You’ve already lost.
