Web advertising

If you are interested in advertising on ClarionCallNews.com, we offer seven web ad slots at a range of prices:

How our web ads work

Each web ad slot will randomly display an ad from the available choices, so if there are five ads in a slot, each ad will be displayed on 20% of page loads (ten ads, 10%; twenty ads, 5%; and so on).

The Clarion Call sells online ads by shares, or percent blocks of probability of being displayed. One share of each slot is reserved for The Clarion Call’s internal ads (”Your Ad Here”).

Four Top Banner shares are available, each representing 20% exposure in page loads (because there are 5 ads in the system, the four available shares plus the internal ad). Callout, Large Top Sidebar, Small Top Sidebar, and Skyscraper ads are sold in 10% shares (9 of each). Large Bottom Sidebar and Small Bottom Sidebar are sold in 5% shares (19 of each). Buying multiple shares is allowed.

Send your ads to the advertising editor at advertising@clarioncallnews.com, or call us at 814.393.2380. Please include a billing address. If you would like us to design an ad for you, we offer such services free of charge.

Note: The rates for advertising on our Classifieds section are double those of the rest of the site.
Note: The Clarion Call does not yet offer clickable web ads. If you are interested in clickable ads, please contact the online editor at admin@clarioncallnews.com for more information.
